Honoring your father
2008-07-22In light of my recent reading on the drug war, especially in West Baltimore, I really think that I need to read The Beautiful Struggle: A Father, Two Sons, and an Unlikely Road to Manhood by Ta-Nehisi Coates. This is a trailer for the book and is worth a viewing.
Coates acknowledges that his father was not a good man, but still, actually having a father (flawed as he was) made all the difference in his life.
