Messing with the template again

2008-09-17

Yes, I’ve changed the blog template again. People complained that the previous template wasn’t “dark and quiet” enough. So I’m experimenting.

Thoughts?

  1. This is a major improvement on the ‘dark and quiet’ front. I’m not sure the background pattern is quite ideal, but overall I’ll give it a seven out of ten.

  5. It’s clear and readable (important indeed!), but if you want to evoke the feelings of a contemplative space you might need to change your font, or have less information. All the lists still make it a busy space.

    But with that aside, I like that it’s easy to read and navigate.

  6. It’s much better than before. I agree that there are some things that could be tweaked further (ex: font), but this isn’t absolutely necessary…not like when you turned your blog pink. I like the fact that it’s darker and more brooding. Yeah, I need Prozac.

  7. I don’t care for the swirly bits in the background. They’re just not *you.* The dark feel is nice, but I agree that it’s a bit too cluttered on the sides. The contrasting blue is quite lovely, though.
