Which is silly, really. Revelation 1:14 clearly states that Jesus has his own heat vision. The sun is obviously something else.

(And really, the Superman reference was a cop-out. Originally, I was going to say that Jesus is the ultimate badass, but I changed my mind at the last minute.)

If that’s a code question for “am I a Christian?” the answer is no, I’m not.

The comment was aimed, as a friendly joke, at Seth though, not a serious comment about Jesus. While I am not a Christian, I understand that he is, in fact, believed to be the incarnation of God on Earth and therefore omnipotent, etc.

It wasn’t a serious theological comment though. Thus the winking smiley at the end.
